Position Summary

The Female Sales Representative will be responsible for generating sales, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively promote the company’s products and services while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

At a more advanced or managerial level, the role also involves contributing to sales strategy development, guiding team members, analyzing performance metrics, and ensuring that overall sales objectives are achieved. Key Responsibilities

1. Market Development and Expansion

The Sales Representative will be expected to actively contribute to the growth of the company by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within assigned regions or sales channels. This includes conducting market research, analyzing trends, and understanding customer needs to position the company’s offerings effectively.

You will also be responsible for promoting the company’s products and services to potential clients, increasing brand visibility, and expanding market share. Building a strong presence in your assigned territory will be a key performance indicator in this role.

2. Customer Relationship Management

Maintaining strong and lasting relationships with clients is a critical part of this position. You will work closely with existing customers to understand their needs, provide tailored solutions, and ensure satisfaction with the company’s products and services.

In addition, you will be required to identify and engage new customers, develop trust, and convert leads into long-term business partnerships. Your ability to communicate effectively and build rapport will significantly influence your success in this role.

3. Sales Planning and Target Achievement

The successful candidate will develop and implement effective sales plans designed to meet or exceed assigned sales targets. This includes setting clear objectives, tracking progress, and adjusting strategies as needed to ensure consistent performance.

You will be responsible for managing your sales pipeline, forecasting revenue, and delivering regular reports on sales activities. A strong focus on results and the ability to meet deadlines will be essential.

4. Negotiation and Deal Closure

A key aspect of the role involves negotiating pricing, terms, and agreements with clients. You will be expected to handle discussions professionally, ensuring that both the client’s needs and the company’s objectives are met.

Once agreements are reached, you will coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of contracts and timely delivery of products or services. Your role will also include following up with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.

5. Team Collaboration and Support

The Sales Representative will work closely with internal departments such as marketing, logistics, and management to ensure seamless operations. Effective collaboration will be essential in delivering a positive customer experience.

For entry-level candidates, the role may begin as a Sales Assistant position. In this capacity, you will provide support to the General Manager and the sales team, assisting with administrative tasks, customer follow-ups, and coordination of sales activities. This serves as an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within the organization.

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Range: GHS 1,000 – GHS 2,500 per month (depending on experience and performance)

Qualifications and Requirements

Educational Background

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Candidates with a background in medical, healthcare, or related disciplines will have an added advantage, particularly those familiar with in vitro diagnostics (IVD).

Work Experience

A minimum of 1–2 years of experience in sales is required. Experience within the healthcare, medical, or pharmaceutical industries is highly desirable but not mandatory. Candidates with a strong willingness to learn and adapt will also be considered.
